Varalakshmi halts Aishwarya and Arul’s wedding, exposing Aishwarya and Kanaka’s true colours. Soon, the family rejoices as Arul and Vanathi’s marriage is celebrated with joy.
Sundaravalli overhears the lawyer and suspects that Vanathi and Nandini are hiding the truth. When Sundravalli confronts them, Arul makes a shocking revelation, leaving Karikalan heartbroken.
Varadarajan pretends to have realised his folly and apologises to Karikalan. Believing Vardarajan, Raja Sundaram forgives and accepts him. But Varadarajan discloses his sinister plan to Kanaka.
Vanathi is heartbroken when Arul fails to understand her love and decides to proceed with the divorce. Unaware that Nandini has restored her vision, Kanaka tries to harm her, but gets in trouble.
Kanaka devises a plan to create a rift between Raja Sundaram and Gunashekaran and seek revenge on Nandini for foiling her plan. Though Kanaka sets a trap for Nandini, Veerayaian falls into it.
Raja Sundaram decides to donate a piece of the ancestral land to the temple. Upon Kanaka's instigation, Kalyani causes a commotion. But Nandini interferes and tactfully handles the situation.
Nandini raises a question to Karikalan when she learns that he took care of her in the hospital. When Varalakshmi questions Vanathi about her married life, Vanathi lies that she is happy with Arul.
Veeraiyan takes the medicine given by Karikalan, believing it to be a cure, but soon finds himself in trouble. Kanaka handles the situation. Later, the devotees bless Karikalan and his family.
Aishwarya is shocked when Kanaka admits sabotaging the ritual. Though the priest refuses to proceed, Nandini persuades him. Undeterred, Kanaka plots yet another plan to halt the ritual.
Nandini is touched by Karikalan’s affection. Arul decides to accept Vanathi, but struggles with his conscience. The priest faces obstacles while performing the 'homam' at Raja Sundaram's house.
Manimeghalai prepares for a homam at home, but Kanaka plots to sabotage it. Gunashekaran, burdened by guilt of betraying Parvathy, mourns before her photo, quickly hiding it as Kalyani walks in.
Nandini rebukes Kanaka, who mocks her blindness. To avenge her humiliation, Kanaka devises a sinister plan to harm Nandini, but the plan backfires and Sundaravalli gets in trouble.
As planned by Kanaka, the couple tries to harm Nandini but Arul and Vanathi arrive in time and rescue her. Meanwhile, trusting the words of the fortune teller, Veeraiyan falls in love with Kanaka.
The doctor readily agrees and informs Kanaka about a medicine when she seeks his help to harm Nandini. Accordingly, a couple attacks the nurse and administers the medicine to Nandini.
Rani donates blood to save Nandini's life. Subbalakshmi is relieved on learning that Nandini is stable, but Karikalan is shattered to know that Nandini has lost her eyesight.
Kanaka's goons attack the donor, who agrees to donate his blood to save Nandini's life. Thereafter, Arul and Karikalan meet Rani, who agrees to help them, but Kanaka's goons try to stop her.
Karikalan rushes a gravely injured Nandini to the hospital. Upon learning about the incident, Raja Sundaram and his family rush to the hospital, but the doctor's diagnosis of Nandini worries them.
Vanathi lashes out at Aishwarya for deceiving Kalyani. As instructed by Varadarajan, the truck driver tries to cause an accident to Karikalan. Nandini risks her life and protects Karikalan.
Nandini slaps Karikalan for calling himself unworthy and trying to leave her. Arul scolds Vanathi for writing his name with a thorn on her hand, only to uncover the heartfelt truth.
The family panics to learn about the damaged brakes, while Karikalan tries to prevent disaster. Sundaravalli sees hope as the van halts at a sacred site. Later, Kanaka and Aishwarya feign concern.
As instructed by Kanaka, the goon damages the brakes of the van, but loses his purse. When Arul returns the purse to the goon, he feels guilty and reveals the truth. Will Arul rescue his family?
Kanaka plots against Rajasundaram and his family as they head to the temple. Nandini considers the falling vermillion as a bad omen and Arul loses his temper when Vanathi expresses her desire.
Sundaravalli panics when the astrologer predicts a threat to the family because of a woman. Elsewhere, Kanaka decides to seek revenge on Raja Sundaram for ruining her mother's life.
Vanathi is dejected when Arul asks her to attend the divorce counselling. Thereafter, Nandini advises Vanathi to stop the divorce. Accordingly, Vanathi cleverly answers the questions asked by Renuka.
Aishwarya plans to teach Vanathi a lesson for being rude to her. As planned, Kanaka and Aishwarya decide to harm Vanathi as she bursts crackers, and get annoyed when their plan fails.
Sundaravalli asks Vanathi to anoint Arul with oil on Diwali, which makes Aishwarya envious. Later, Raja Sundaram and his family enjoy the Diwali festivities.
Kanaka opposes Nandini and claims to seek revenge on Raja Sundaram’s family. Thereafter, Kalyani, upset by villagers’ accusations against her and Veeraiyan, lashes out at Manimeghalai.
Nandini confronts Kanaka after learning the truth. Pretending to feel bad, Kanaka stages an emotional act. Unaware of Kanaka's intent, Raja Sundaram stops her from leaving the house.
Unable to bear the humiliation, Kanaka asks Raja Sundaram to divide the property. At home, Karikalan gets upset as he recalls the incident at the village council. Nandini confronts Kanaka.
The police raid Rajasundaram’s house and seize money and further accuse him of embezzling chit fund money. When the villagers doubt Kalyani’s claims, Rajasundaram apologises at the panchayat.
Vanathi discovers that Varadarajan has tied Arul up in the factory where bombs are planted and, along with Nandini, tries to rescue him. Meanwhile, Kanaka schemes against Rajasundram.
Kanaka cleverly handles the situation when Nandini confronts her about lacing the food. With a plan to harm Karikalan, Varadarajan plants a bomb in the factory.
Arul thanks Vanathi for her help. Elsewhere, Nandini finds Kandan's phone after he escapes from Karikalan and becomes suspicious when Kanaka calls and talks to her thinking she's Kandan.
Karikalan thrashes Varadarajan for trying to kill Arul. Nandini stops Karikalan and rebukes him for his foolishness. Varadarajan tries to assault Vanathi when she warns him to stay away from Arul.
Raja Sundaram fixes an uneducated Karikalan’s wedding with Vanathi and Arul’s with Nandhini. But an unexpected twist results in mismatched marriages, sparking rifts and resentmentbetween the couples.
Upon learning about Karikalan's fear, Masanimuthu summons Amutha to the tournament. Soon after, Nandini is stunned when Karikalan becomes unconscious, but is relieved when Arul plays on his behalf.
Nandini takes Karikalan out of the house to change his mind. To honour Kayal’s wish, Karikalan performs the Nalangu ritual for her before she heads to the competition, which annoys Kalyani.
Doubting Karikalan’s word, Kalyani asks Raja Sundaram to divide the property. To seek revenge on Karikalan, Masanimuthu instigates Amutha.
Vanathi gets injured while trying to save Arul from the goons. At the kabbadi tournament, Karikalan recalls a bitter incident when an old woman curses him and blames him for killing her son.
Arul is captivated by Vanathi’s beauty as he applies her makeup. During the kabaddi match, Masanimuthu’s men cause a commotion and attempt to attack Karikalan.
Vanathi mocks Arul's request to act in his ad film, but later agrees. Masanimuthu instructs his team to defeat Karikalan's team in the kabaddi tournament, but Karikalan steps in to defeat them.
Nandini tactfully responds when Arul questions her about keeping her photo in the album. Masanimuthu bribes Karikalan’s rival team to defeat Karikalan's team in the kabaddi match.
Karikalan, who is drawn to Nandini, distances himself from her. Unaware of this, Vanathi adds Nandini’s photo to the album. Later, Vanathi is chosen for a jewellery store ad, leaving Arul confused.
With a plan to make Vanathi act in Arul's ad film, Nandini clicks her pictures. Elsewhere, Aishwarya offers Arul a glass of spiked milk to get close to him, but to her dismay, Karikalan drinks it.
When Karikalan hesitates to participate in the kabbadi tournament, Nandini encourages him. Later, Masanimuthu's men try to attack him, but Karikalan fights back and qualifies for the next round.
With a motive, Masanimuthu disqualifies Karikalan from the tournament. On learning about it, Nandini meets Masanimuthu with a plan to bring Karikalan back into the match.
Nandini urges Karikalan to participate in the Kabaddi tournament. When Kalyani mocks Karikalan, Manimekalai gives her a fitting reply. Masanimuthu plans to seek revenge on Karikalan during the match.
Arul's friend gives him a suggestion when he seeks financial help. Arul is mesmerised to see Vanathi's new look but pretends to scold her. Nandini condemns the moneylender for berating Karikalan.
Karikalan warns Varadarajan at Kayal’s event, vowing revenge on Arul. Meanwhile, Nandini consoles a heartbroken Vanathi and suggests a way to win back Arul’s love after the divorce notice.
Arul and Karikalan plan a grand 'Manjal Neerattu Vizha' for Kayal. Freed from prison, Varadarajan vows to confront Raja Sundaram. Vanathi breaks down about her divorce, while Aishwarya is delighted.
