A tip leads police and SIT to Sivarasan's hideout in Konanakunte, Bangalore, as NSG readies the final assault.
SIT hunts Sivarasan after a Coimbatore arrest shows he entered Bangalore in an oil tanker. A near-raid fails, and 17 LTTE operatives die.
SIT learns Dhanu, Shubha and Haribabu rehearsed the breach, then arrests LTTE aides until a key suspect escapes, restarting the manhunt.
Interrogations expose Nalini and Murugan's role in the conspiracy as the SIT launches a nationwide manhunt. Sivarasan's bomb attack fails.
Sivarasan evades the coast guard as the Special Investigation Team chases false leads; Ravi Shankar is caught, and a second attack looms.
The Special Investigation Team uncovers propaganda and hidden presses, confirms Haribabu as a key operative, and nears a second assassination attempt.
A call, a suicide bomb, and the Sriperumbudur blast lead PM Chandrashekhar to appoint D.R. Kaarthikeyan to head the probe.
